H&S Production, Inc., a private oil and gas company, along with H&S Geophysical, Inc., was founded in 1978 by Scott G. Heape, the third generation of the Heape family active in the oil & gas industry.  Atoka Operating, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of H&S Production, was founded in 2003.

The combined organizations’ primary focus is to identify and acquire oil & gas prospects for exploration and development drilling.  Since its formation, H&S’s track record of successful discovery is well recognized.

Today, H&S activities are primarily concentrated in the Sherman-Marietta Basin, Fort Worth Basin, Permian Basin East Texas, North Louisiana, Southeast Colorado and Western Kansas.
